Within the news, weather and traffic tool, we've renamed Newscasters to Projects. Think of a project as whatever you're looking to create regularly - whether that's a bulletin, summary or update, however you describe it on-air.
Your project holds your running order, allowing you to customize your production and choose exactly which content gets included. Each time that running order is used, whether automated on a schedule or created on-demand, a new edition (formerly Newscast) is created.
We've also introduced a new homepage for each project, making it easier to find and manage various features and options in one place.
Improvements also include:
- You can now change the voice for your project on the running order page, with a new look that makes it easier to filter, preview and find the right voice for you.
- If you need to edit any of the content sources within your project, there's now a handy shortcut to make this even quicker.
- Projects can now be duplicated - so if you need work on a variation, you don't need to set everything up all over again.
